sc_passBot check pass: this browser passed a Cloudflare Turnstile check. Set for signed-out visitors only; holds no identity2 hours

The bot check: to keep automated scrapers from copying our data, a signed-out visitor's browser may be asked to pass Cloudflare Turnstile, which usually runs without anything to click and sends Cloudflare signals about the browser and device; we send Cloudflare the visitor's IP address with each check. When it passes, we set sc_pass, which lets a signed-out visitor open artist, album and song pages for 2 hours. It is strictly necessary for that, holds no identity and is not used to follow you across sites. While it lasts, our server keeps the list of pages opened under its random number, to count them, and deletes it when the pass ends. The app keeps the pass's end time in local storage as sc_pass_until.

4. Third-Party Cookies

In addition to our own cookies, we use various third-party services that may set cookies:

Each of these third parties has their own privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review their policies to understand how they handle your data.

5. Local Storage and Similar Technologies

In addition to cookies, we also use local storage and session storage for similar purposes:

These technologies function similarly to cookies but can store larger amounts of data. They are subject to the same controls you can apply to cookies in your browser settings.

6. Managing Cookies

8. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Currently, there is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. However, you can manage your cookie preferences as described above. We will update this policy if a standard for responding to DNT signals is established.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Cookie Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
