La carrera profesional de Mr Crook comienza tocando el saxofón con Patricio rey en 1982, con quienes grabó "Gulp" y "Oktubre" y formó parte de la banda hasta 1986. Al tiempo se incorpora a la última formación de Los Abuelos de la Nada. En el año 1987 viaja a España, donde colabora con alguna agrupaciones y se integra a Lions In Love, liderada por Daniel Melingo. Allí toca ya varios instrumentos.
