Tamborder is the alias through which Federico Romanzi explores a personal musical dimension built on rhythm, cultural curiosity, and unpredictability. The name comes from a hybrid instrument invented by Italian percussionist Tony Esposito: half percussion, half electronic — a perfect metaphor for the project’s spirit, suspended between tribal roots, electronic groove, and experimentation.

Tamborder was born from the desire to create music without being tied to a specific genre.
