I Ricchi e Poveri nascono a Genova nel 1967, formato da due voci femminili e due maschili: Angela Brambati, Marina Occhiena, Franco Gatti e Angelo Sotgiu. Nel 1981 Marina lascia il gruppo per intraprendere la carriera da solista mentre Franco uscirà nel 2016 per dedicarsi maggiormente alla famiglia.
