Michael Kanekoの楽曲は、各国Spotifyのバイラル・チャートにランクインし、インドネシアのフェスでは1万人のオーディエンスが大合唱が巻き起こった。 そして2019年、遂にEP『Westbound EP』でデビュー。いかんなく発揮されたソングライティング力とパフォーマンスが話題となる。 その後リリースされた1stアルバム『ESTERO』はラッパー Daichi Yamamotoをフィーチャリングするなど音楽性の幅を広げヒットを記録。
