About

Roel GOSTO Vermeer started out as a self-taught attic room producer, by combining hip-hop-like beats with his own voice. His debut album Memory Ivy (2016) put him on the map in one fell swoop and took him from Germany to Japan – from De Wereld Draait Door to shows with Jamie Lidell, Oscar en de Wolf and Thomas Dybdahl. The second album ‘What do You Mean, You Need a Color TV’ (2019) brought more soul, lightness and tempo to the music.
