Before the world shut down, Emma Louise landed at the lowest moment of her life. After the release of her celebrated 2018 album Lilac Everything, the Australian-born, now LA-based singer-songwriter was ready to leave her music career behind. Feeling burned out, worn down, and isolated, she checked herself into a hospital in Los Angeles for what she casually referred to as a ‘complete mental breakdown’, an experience that would end up transforming her life for the better.
